DESCRIPTION:Shamanic traditions have used the beat of a drum to enhance intuition and commune with nature and spirit. In ancient Greece\, Muses were called upon for divine assistance in the arts. Combining both principles\, this workshop offers a time-tested method for connecting with the other-than-human to support your creative process. In our time together\, you will: \n-enjoy a grounding meditation \n-be led in a drum journey to meet your personal “muse” or creative ally \n-receive insight into —and even release— any blocks to moving forward \n-take home ideas for continued practice \nOpen to professional artists\, quiet creatives\, and everyone in-between. Please dress comfortably and bring a notebook (or other media) to record your impressions.
